Migration to Canada
The Fastest Path to Permanent Residency
Canada is one of the world’s most desirable destinations for skilled migration, actively seeking professionals to sustain its robust economy and low population density. For skilled individuals from countries like Bangladesh, Canada offers clear, transparent, and high-speed pathways to permanent residency (PR) unmatched by any other nation.
Canada’s immigration system is structured to welcome economic-class immigrants, prioritizing those who are educated, proficient in English or French, and possess in-demand skills.
Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
This is the second-largest immigration route. Every province (except Quebec and Nunavut) runs its own PNP to select immigrants whose skills meet local labour needs.
-
Enhanced PNPs: Align with Express Entry and give the candidate a massive 600 bonus points towards their score, virtually guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for PR.
-
Base PNPs: Do not require an Express Entry profile and are used by provinces to nominate applicants directly.
The Application Process (Express Entry)
Applying for PR through Express Entry is a two-step process:
-
Stage 1: Create a Profile & Enter the Pool
-
ECA & Language Test: Obtain your ECA report and take the IELTS/TEF exam.
-
Express Entry Profile: Submit a profile online into the Express Entry pool. You are then ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on your credentials.
-
-
Stage 2: Invitation & Final Application
-
Invitation to Apply (ITA): Candidates with the highest CRS scores are selected in regular draws and receive an ITA for Permanent Residency.
-
Visa Application: Submit a comprehensive electronic PR application with all supporting documents (police certificates, medical exams, proof of funds) within 60 days of receiving the ITA.
-
PR Grant: Upon successful review, the PR status is granted.
-
Why Choose Canada for Migration?
Canada’s system is highly popular because it focuses directly on PR from the start, offering a comprehensive and secure future, making it an ideal choice for new immigrants.
-
Fastest PR Process: The Express Entry system is one of the world’s fastest, managing skilled worker applications with successful applicants often getting PR status in under six months.
-
Universal Healthcare: Permanent residents gain access to Canada’s universal, publicly funded healthcare system (provincial plan), covering essential medical services.
-
Free Public Education: Children of PR holders are entitled to free education up to the secondary level (Grade 12).
-
Pathway to Citizenship: PR status is the first step; you can apply for Canadian citizenship after living in Canada for three out of five years.
-
Job & Mobility Freedom: PR status allows you to live, work, and study anywhere in Canada without being tied to a specific employer or province.
